Team work Lu & Ed style

My dear crafty friend, Cody, of Lu & Ed gets faced with requests that she herself cannot make. It is a hard thing to tell one of you awesome fans I can not make what you are seek after. I will continue to do my best to refer you to whom I know to fill your needs. But Cody...well she came up with a most genius idea and it helps out a GREAT local cause. Welcome Cody.

Thank you Kelly. And as you said, I love it when customers ask for new products, but sometimes I can't always fill those requests.

Enter Team Lu & Ed.

I keep a list of customer suggestions. One day I was looking at that list and decided I need to do something about it - so I started reaching out to other artists who I admire for their talent and positive personalities to collaborate with to fulfill those suggestions!

Collaborating is such a wonderful experience. I love working with other artists to make unique, limited edition products and I hope that you enjoy seeing what we scheme up together! Together, me and the artists I am teaming up with are changing the world - proceeds from each Team Lu & Ed product are donated to charity!

Team Lu & Ed proudly supports Drumm Farm Center for Children, with as much as 100% from Team Lu & Ed products going directly to the group home environment for children in the Missouri foster care system in Kansas City, where I call home. ♥ The other percentage of funds from items goes directly back to the artist I collaborated with. I don't keep a penny of the money from Team Lu & Ed, I invest it all back into the local community and helping make the lives of children in the foster care system more happy and wonderful!

Here is a run down on currently active collaborations & products you can find in my shop

Cari from TheMollieShop.com makes incredible fur haired fabric dolls & perfectly pleasant handmade fabric fabric hair bows! I was thrilled when she designed two types of bows - a ribbon/bottlecap bow and a fabric bow - to represent Team Lu & Ed! Cari graciously donates 100% of the proceeds from these bows to charity through Team Lu & Ed!

This winter Cari & I launched ten fabric, fur hair Mollie Dollies made in Team Lu & Ed colors -  with 50% going to Team Lu & Ed! The dolls flew off the shelves and there are just a few left!

EPIC Event 8/18

Hello!! Sorry been so quiet this week - I have working on an EPIC new product for Kiser Krafts. Are you following me on Facebook? (Facebook Kiser Krafts) I posted pictures and clues for my awesome fans to guess the *Surprise* Product this whole past week. There were some creative guesses! It was so much fun!! I hope to see you the next time!

In celebration of this NEW Product Line Kiser Krafts having a *FLASH* SALE!!!
The New product line is Sock Monsters!!!

The story behind the sock monster is more of a creative way to use the cut up pieces of sock I have laying around. I do not want anything to go to waste. So after several pro to-types - of which my children were the receivers of - I come to this idea of a 'sock monster'. They are made of 1 sock or several different socks. Each is unique, colorful, creative, and one of a kind. They are fun, playful, and perfect size for hands of all sizes. I am so happy with them! Each new one made, my children try to steal to play with. I hope to share the "Monster" fun with everyone else!

I do hope to see you for the BIG EVENT on 8/18, 8am - 8pm!!!

How do you like the new product line??

Epic Buys!

Hi! I want to share with you a few purchases I bought over the last couple months. I was very impressed with the items as well as their timely arrival and presentations.

First, I would like to share with you the one who encouraged me to follow my crafting shop dreams, Cody Nations of Lu & Ed (Alist member). She seriously took my little sock animal dreams and helped make them a reality. She truly is an inspiration! Her shop is a child’s dream! Storage Mon-sters and plushies are above reproach! They are all handmade, up-cycled/re-cycled, unique one of a kind creations. Cody’s vision for EPIC Mon-sters is so impressive!! Each new monster I want!! They just keep getting cuter! I bought two monsters from her and they were sent out to me only a day after my purchase! I was so excited to have them arrive. Crieglan arrived in her recycled box (which this mom was excited about as it had coupons on it I could use). And it was a joy to watch as my daughter pulled her from her box. She carried her around for the rest of the day! Toys are fed to the monster each night! And the other is a small monster that holds my WIP (work in progress) out of reach of little hands. And he is mine – love, love, love him! He does a great job of protecting my work and my knitting needles.

Second, Amazing shop: Little Green Guy run by Brittany Rae Martin. So very impressed!! I ordered a new traveling buddy. I got to put two cents in as to what “little green guy” I wanted to travel with me. I wanted a Little Green Gal. And I received the most perfect adorable Little Green Gal ever! Her name is Dorothy Green and she has ruby sparkly slippers!!! EEEK!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! I am so excited to take her with me wherever I go!! I live in Kansas…hence the ruby slippers and the name…so cheeky – it makes it that much more fun! Her customer service was wonderful and delivery was fast, considering she had to give my new buddy a tan and get her through the Little Green Guy Army. Thankfully, Dorothy Green came with an updated passport and map to get through all that “red-tape”.  She is really fitting in with our family, drinking coffee, playing with our bunny, and having fun with our Daughter.  If you need a new friend, Little Green Guy has the friend for you!

I am so happy with my purchases, I must share the "good" with all of you!!! I do hope you give them a visit and see all the many wonderful handmade items in their shops.
